GLENBURN – Veronica (Brooker) Skidgel, 82, died July 1, 2005, after a long illness. She was born July 27, 1922, in Limestone, the daughter of Low and Lizzie (Johndro) Brooker. She was a member of the Bangor Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Stanley Skidgel; seven children, Herman Fisher, Viola Monihan, Jerry Skidgel, Eugene Skidgel, Paul Skidgel, Lorraine Skidgel, Wayne Skidgel; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Phil Brooker; two sisters, Loretta Collender of California, Annie Carlson; a special friend, Tracy Pickard. Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at the Bangor Church of Christ, 516 Union St., Bangor. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Bangor Church of Christ.
