AUBURN – Veryl M. Howland, of 460 Minot Ave., Auburn died Feb. 25, 2006, at Clover Health Care. Born Aug. 5, 1914, in East Lowell, the daughter of Dean and E. Adellla Mallett. She was educated in Bangor schools and was a graduate of Bangor High School. In 1935, she married Leslie W. Howland who died in 1991. She lived many years in Auburn, Lewiston and Waterville. She is survived by one son, Vaughn; two grandchildren, Stephen and Susan; one sister, Elizabeth Dow and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements by the family owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel and Tribute Center, Auburn.
