LINCOLN – Henrietta K. Morgan, 68, died Feb. 26, 2006, at her home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 28, 1937, in Sherman Mills, the daughter of Henrietta Morgan and Don B. Morgan Sr. Henrietta was a volunteer for many organizations, including Meals For ME, RSVP, hospice and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Mattawamkeag Methodist Church. Henrietta worked at Wal-Mart and leaves behind a Wal-Mart family. She will be sadly missed by her many friends. She loved her animals and will be sadly missed by Sandy, Molly, Morgan and Jack. She loved collecting angels and enjoyed crocheting and crafts. She is survived by three children, Alan W. DesChamps Sr. of Loma Linda, Calif., Glen R. Garrity Sr. of Granby, Conn. and Donna DesChamps of Lincoln; three sisters, Lucille Sides of New Port Richey, Fla., Lorraine Rossignol and Mel of Winchendon, Mass. and Louise Gould of Brewer; five brothers, Mayo Morgan and Fernie of Assaria, Kan., Don B. Morgan Jr. and Val of Charleston, Barry Morgan and Lilly of Jacksonville, Fla., Gary Morgan and Linda of Ashford, Conn., Mickey Morgan and Bonnie of Woodstock, Conn; seven grandchildren. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Mattawamkeag United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Leon Robinson officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at the Sherman Cemetery, at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cancer Care of Maine, or Penobscot Valley Humane Society. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
