SAN JOSE, Calif. – Vickie Rae Reeves (Forbes), 47, died Aug. 9, 2005, as a result of a motorcycle accident. She was born Jan. 14, 1958, in Caribou, the daughter of Lendell and Iona (Farrar) Forbes. She attended Caribou schools, and graduated from Pierre’s School of Cosmetology in 1990. She married Billy D. Reeves, Feb. 14, 2004. She was employed in August of 2000 by West Valley College, where she was still working. She was an avid crafter, enjoyed sewing classes with friends, spending time with family, music, dancing and mostly riding motorcycles. She is survived by her husband, Billy Reeves, of San Jose; her mother, Iona Forbes of Caribou; daughter, Keacha St. Peter of Caribou; two granddaughters, Mersadies Haines and Marienna St. Peter, both of Caribou; four sisters, Beverly and Paul LaBarre of Salem, N.H., Brenda Forbes, Bonnie Fisher, Lynne Dell Muffler and her husband, Craig Richards, all of Caribou; two nieces, Janelle Brown of Caribou, Lisa LaBarre her son, Josh, and daughter, Malori, of Salem, N.H.; two nephews, Patrick LaBarre of Florida, Shane Forbes and his daughter, Mackenzie, of Washburn. She was predeceased by her father, Lendell; and sister, Patricia Traugh. A service will be held 1 p.m. Sept. 10, at the United Baptist Church, 74 High St., Caribou.
