EAGLE LAKE – Victoria (Duprey) Laferriere, 105, died peacefully Nov. 7, 2007, at an Eagle Lake health care facility. She was born Dec. 18, 1901, in Ashland, the daughter of Alex and Agnes (Devoe) Duprey. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann of Eagle Lake and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She was predeceased by her husband, Adelard Laferriere, in 1952; and two sons, Ernest and Herman. She is survived by five sons, Willard and his wife, Flora, of Windsor Locks, Conn., Richard of Eagle Lake, Donald and his wife, Madeline, of Eagle Lake, Ronald and his wife, Carolyn, of Eagle Lake, and Dana of Eagle Lake; four daughters, Bertha Sevigny and her husband, Larry, of Jensen Beach, Fla., Lucille Reinkendorff and her husband, Bill, of Jensen Beach, Fla., Loretta Albert and her husband, Fernand, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Lorina Goulet and her husband, Norman, of Hobe Sound, Fla.; three sisters, Irene Albert of New Hampshire, Loretta Loubier of East Windsor, Conn., and Theresa Bannon of Glastonbury, Conn.; 32 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and seven sisters. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday until time of departure for Eagle Lake, at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake. Committal services will be at the parish cemetery.
