LINCOLN – Villa M. Karls, 101, wife of the late Emmett Karls, passed away June 14, 2008, at a local health care facility. She was born March 30, 1907, in North Lincoln, the daughter of Jenny and Fletcher Smith. Villa was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. She is survived by her children, Edward Dysart, Byron Oliver, Phillip Oliver and Cheryl Lancaster; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Oliver. Friends may call 10 a.m. noon Monday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held noon Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Cushman officiating. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery.
