PRESQUE ISLE – Viola D. Everett, 87, died Aug. 20, 2007, at a Houlton health care facility. She was born March 27, 1920, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Lee and Bessie (Wark) Perkins. She loved her family and loved cooking for them. She enjoyed watching soap operas and listening to country western music. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Tyrone and Janis Currier of Presque Isle and Leroy and Vaunne Currier of McMinnville, Ore.; a daughter, Gloria McLean and her husband, Jack, of Mapleton; a stepson and his wife, Elwood, and Ingrid Currier of Merritt Island, Fla.; five grandchildren, Tim McLean and his wife, Holly, of Presque Isle, Michelle Franzose and her husband, Rick, of Winslow, Travis Currier and his wife, Jody, of Kennebunkport, Lynn Ingalls and her husband, Ron, of Hermon and David Currier and his fianc?e, Elizabeth Chambers, of Portland; eight great-grand-children, Hadley McLean, Rachel and Thomas Ingalls, Seth, Forrest, Haley Franzose, Izayiah and Baily Currier; a brother, Granville Perkins of Fort Fairfield. She was predeceased by her first husband, Holman Currier, in 1968; her second husband, William Everett; a granddaughter, Tamara Currier, several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
