LINCOLN – Virginia C. Wilson, 84, wife of the late George W. Wilson, died May 4, 2006, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born June 13, 1921, in Winn, the daughter of Thurman and June (Leathers) Millett. Virginia enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting in her younger days. Her family was very important to her. Her family takes this opportunity to thank the staff at Westgate Manor for wonderful care and kindness given to Virginia during her stay there. She is survived by three children, Linda Trott and Dalton of Lincoln, George Wilson and Carol of New Hampshire and Pamela Poliquin and Albert of Brewer; a brother, Thurman Millett of Stockton Springs; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Young officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in her memory to either the activities fund at Westgate Manor or the Lincoln United Methodist Church.
