MILLTOWN, New Brunswick Virginia Louise Armstrong, born July 15, 1922, wife of the late John “Jack” Ronald Armstrong, passed away July 19, 2008, at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, New Brunsick, the daughter of the late Clayton and Susan (Appleby) Cameron. Virginia was a life long resident of Milltown, New Brunswick, residing on Spring Street. She is survived by her children, Robert Armstrong and wife, Karen, of Stanley, New Brunswick, Debra Sprague and husband, Fred, of Baileyville and Pamela Tucker and husband, Kurt, of St. Stephen, New Brunswick; seven grandchildren, Jack, Jason and Nicole Armstrong, Kelley, Heather and Megan Sprague and Jeremy Nixon; her sister, Betty Fountain of Baileyville; sister-in-law, Sara Cameron of Calais; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents; sister, Frances McLeod; brother, John “Jack” Cameron; and brother-in-law, Arnold “Diz” Fountain. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at St. Peters Anglican Church, Milltown, New Brunswick. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St., St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Interment will be at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
