CROSS LAKE and CARIBOU – Vivian M. Cyr, 87, died Feb. 18, 2005, at Caribou following a brief illness. She was born April 6, 1917, in Caribou the daughter of Francis P. and Velma (Bryson) McNeal. She was a graduate of the Caribou High School Class of 1935, she was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Ladies of St. Anne. She was also a member of the local Bridge Club. Vivian was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Kirkland and her husband, Lem, of Orlando, Fla.; four sons, Ronald Cyr and his wife, Louise, of Cross Lake, David Cyr of Palm Springs, Calif., Thomas Cyr and his wife, Geri, of Alpine, Calif., and Gregory Cyr and his wife, Janet of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Hazel Bennett of Lubbock, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Noel A. Cyr and by her second husband, Gerald J. Cyr; by sons, infant, Fred N. and Richard; three brothers, Floyd, Bernard and Claude McNeal; and by five sisters, Margaret Dickinson, Marjorie Robertson, Frances McNeal, Flora Ayotte and Patricia King. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial.
