HOULTON – Waldo L. Cunliffe, 80, died March 12, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1926, in New Limerick, the son of William and Eva (Fanjoy) Cunliffe. Waldo attended New Limerick schools and was a World War II veteran. He worked for several area farmers and Houlton International. He is survived by three sisters-in-law, Ruth Cunliffe of Atlanta, Helen Cunliffe and Lucy Cunliffe, both of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, seven brothers, Forrest, Chauncey, Ray, LeRoy, Paul, William, and Jim; five sisters, Dodie Emerson, Phyllis Wiggins, Thelma Weed, Evelyn Cunliffe, and Barbara Butler. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Gifts may be made in Waldo’s memory to the Madigan Estates Activity Fund, care of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton, ME 04730.
