CALAIS – Wallace William McLean, 81, formerly of Somerville and Malden, Mass., died Dec. 23, 2006. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Bateman) McLean; loving father of Wallace and his wife, Rita, of Burlington, Mass., Paula Adcock of Hamburg, Ark., Gerald and his wife, Jo, of Syracuse, N.Y., Sharon Fidler and her husband, Billy, of Sydney, Nancy of Calais; also survived by 11 grandchildren and their spouses and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Calais Methodist Church. Burial will be held after at Calais Cemetery.
