ENFIELD – Walter “Buster” Brown Jr. died Aug. 22, 2007, at Woodlands of Brewer Assisted Living facility after a long illness. Walter was born Nov. 11, 1941, at his families’ home in South Lincoln, the son of the late Walter Sr. and Lillian (White) Brown. Walter loved old country music, watering his flowers, taking rides and working outside with his buddy, Jerry. Walter is survived by a brother, Robert Brown of Enfield; three sisters Janet Bragdon of Bangor, Jackie Brown and Peggy Brown, both of Lincoln; an uncle, Harry Brown Sr. of Orono; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many special friends from his home at Woodlands of Brewer, including close friends, Wendle, Ed, Lloyd and Tessi. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ida Mae Brown. A special thanks to Mark and Greg of Hospice and the wonderful staff of the Woodlands for the excellent care and heartfelt tenderness given during Walter’s last days. Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Dodlin Road Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made, in Walter’s memory to Woodlands of Brewer Activity Fund. Donations may be sent, care of the Brown family, P.O.
