HOULTON – Wayne H. Foster Sr., 68, died May 15, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born Nov. 3, 1936, at Houlton, the son of Henry and Mildred M. (Edwards) Foster. Wayne was a kind and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, chatting with friends, telling “stories” and watching Westerns. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Bonnie (Jones) Foster, of Houlton; his son, Wayne Foster Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Houlton; three step-children, Vicki Sprague and her husband, Terri, of Ludlow, Gary Sawyer Jr. and his companion, Todd White, of Heightstown, N.J., Heidi Moran and her husband, Joe, of Houlton; seven grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Howard of Connecticut, Doris Lindsey of Massachusetts, Sharon Fitzpatrick and her husband, Roy, of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by four in-laws and special friends, Peggy and Eldon White of Eddington and Robert Jones of Caribou. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Willis Foster; and his sister, Norma Sten. Friends may call 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. with the Rev. David Tuttle, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
