BANGOR – Wayne W. Stevens, 53, died March 17, 2006, at a local healthcare facility. He was born Sept. 5, 1952, in Bangor, the son of Franklin and Patricia (Gardner) Stevens. Wayne served his country in the U.S. Navy submarine force. He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Gardner) Dall of Bangor; his father, Franklin Stevens of South Bend, Wash.; his stepmother, Hannelore Stevens of Raymond, Wash.; two sisters, Angela A. Consalvo of Gonic, N.H., Susan Marie Williams of Rochester, N.H.; his half brother, Cary Stevens, serving with the U.S. Air Force; his half sister, Debi Gage of Yakima, Wash.; one niece, Amanda Jean Williams of Raymond, N.H.; and one nephew, Wayne’s godson, Glenn Gray Jr. of St. Mary’s, Ga. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 20, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, celebrant.
