BRADLEY – William “Bill” Grant Agrell, 77, passed away peacefully Sept. 5, 2007, with his family at his side. He was born March 23, 1930, in Milford, the son of Rethel and Mayfair (Grant) Agrell. Bill graduated from Old Town High School, Class of 1948. He served our country as a marine during the Korean War. Bill was one of the chosen few. He worked as a plumber and pipe fitter for the Local 716 until his retirement in 1993. Bill loved to putter around his home after his retirement, and he was most well known for his garden as it was envied by the neighborhood. In his spare time, Bill also enjoyed fishing. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Jeannine and Flora Helen; and brothers, Laverne and Carleton. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce (Grass) Agrell; sons, Carleton and his wife, Betty, and Ralph and his wife Gail; daughters, Kathryn Southworth and her husband, Dave, and Stephanie Willett and her husband, Josh; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sister, Lurlene Jameson and her husband, Earl; brothers, Paul Agrell and his wife, Bernice, Charles Agrell and his wife, Nancy, and Rodney Agrell; several nieces and nephews; and special neighbor, Makayla Brown. A private celebration of Bill’s life will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Birmingham Funeral Home.
