WILLIAM F. ERICKSON

EAST BOSTON and ISLAND FALLS – William F. Erickson, 73, died Oct. 21, 2004, in Boston, Mass. He was born Sept. 6, 1931, in Houlton, the son of Winfred and Dorothy (Longstaff) Erickson. William was a graduate of Island Falls High School, Hebron Academy and Boston University. He worked most of his life in the trucking industry. During his career he was the general sales manager for O’Donnell’s Express, a national accounts executive for Sanborn Motor Express, and terminal manager for Brookville Transport. In addition to his mother Dorothy, of Crystal; he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Phyllis (Frederico) Erickson of East Boston, Mass.; one daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Philip Hovey, of Andover, Conn.; Phyllis’ two children, Steven and his wife, Carol Panora, of Malden, Mass. and Esta Panora of East Boston, Mass. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Whittier Congregational Church in Island Falls with the Rev. Rodger Good officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Island Falls Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
