STOCKTON SPRINGS – William Frederick Pfleiderer, 51, passed away Jan. 4, 2006. He was born Feb. 8, 1954, in Trenton, N.J., the son of John Allyn “Al” Pfleiderer Sr. and Pauline (Bralynski) Pfleiderer. William grew up in Trenton, N.J., attended Trenton schools and was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Class of 1972. During his youth William enjoyed scouting and worked diligently to attain his Eagle Scout Certification by the Boy Scouts of America. Bill loved playing the guitar and over the years, played in several Maine based bands. He was the former owner and operator of Pecos Bill’s Mexican Restaurant, on Hammond Street in Bangor. He also enjoyed his Beagle, Molly, which he adopted from an area shelter. William will be remembered as a loving son, father, companion and friend to many. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Marie Pfleiderer of Holden; his mother, Pauline J. Pfleiderer of Sebring, Fla.; his fiance, Leah Maddocks of Stockton Springs; one brother, John Allyn Pfleiderer Jr. and his wife, Jan, of Ithaca, N.Y.; two aunts, Mary Olsen and Helen Bralynski, both of Trenton, N.J.; many cousins; and his former wife, Deborah A. Given, of Holden. Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Joel Krueger, co-pastor of the First Church of Belfast, officiating. Interment in the springtime will be in Grove Cemetery, Belfast.
