WINTERPORT – William H. Barlow, 71, died April 1, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 7, 1934, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., the son of Edson and Gladys (Smith) Barlow. William was a computer enthusiast, classic car junky and a philosophy and history buff. He especially enjoyed painting and being an illustrator. He is survived by three sons, Joel Barlow of Winterport, Aaron Barlow of Upland, Calif., John Barlow of Charlotte, Vt.; one daughter, Ann Barlow of Charlotte, Vt.; two grandsons, one brother, Edson Barlow of Michigan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held in the summer in Pomfret, Conn. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
