ELLSWORTH – William N. Milliken, 92, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Ellsworth, the son of Sherman E. and Mildred L. (Kane) Milliken. William was a member of The Church of Life and Praise in Ellsworth. He enjoyed baseball, was an avid photographer, and loved to watch wrestling on television. William is survived by a son, George Milliken Sr. and his wife, Mary; four grandchildren, George E. Milliken Jr. and his wife, Dawn, Wayne Milliken and his wife, Terri, Evelyn Jordan and her husband, Ryan, all of Ellsworth, and Sandra Rhodes and her husband, Lloyd, of Surry; seven great-grandchildren, Wayne J. Milliken, Kelly Murphy, Kristy Salisbury, Joshua Tilghman, Scott and Matthew Milliken, and Randa Rhodes; four great-great-grandchildren, Kennedy Milliken, Keith Edgecomb, Kevin Salisbury, and Shawn Commeau; a sister, Susan Hill of Alexander; a sister-in-law, Helen Goodrich of Ellsworth; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Woodbine Cemetery, Washington Junction Road, Ellsworth. Gifts in memory of William may be sent to the American Cancer Society, One Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. Arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
