ST. ALBANS and CORINTH – William Robert Elliott, 24, died tragically Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006, at his Corinth residence. He was born July 10, 1981, at Bangor, a son of Wayne and Shirley (Gillingham) Elliott. Will was a graduate of Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1999. He was a self-employed scrap metals dealer and had a wide array of friends and acquaintances. He is survived by his mother and her husband, Paul Turner, of Hartland; his father of Charleston; his girlfriend, Ann Campbell of Corinth; maternal grandmother, Joellen Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla.; two aunts, Audrey Moxhet of Jacksonville, Fla. and Georgia Hutchins of Penobscot; and many cousins. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at the Stetson Union Church Ministry Center, 1059 Mullen Rd., (1/2 mile from Stetson Village toward Corinna on Rte. 222) with the Rev. David Ray Sr. officiating. Friends may call 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the church. Burial will be in St. Albans. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
