HARTFORD, Conn. – William “Bill” R. West, 55, died Monday, July 18, 2005, at St. Frances Hospital following a long illness. Bill was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Tampa, Fla., the son of Cecil and Mary (Dupuis) West. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, and retired as a senior master sergeant. He was predeceased by his father, Cecil West of Newport; Bill is survived by his mother, Mary C. West, of Newport; one sister and brother-in-law, Madelon and William Dyki, of Newington, Conn.; and one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Rita West, of Garland; he is also survived by one niece, Mary E. West of Newport. Funeral services were held July 20, at the United Synagogue Cemetery, in Wethersfield, Conn.
