SOUTHWEST HARBOR – William “Bill” Raymond Hebron, passed away Jan. 19, 2006. He was born Jan. 17, 1954, in Charleston, S.C., the son of John Robert Hebron and Louise Shielia Phippen. Bill loved many and was loved by many for he loved only ones self worth. He was well-known for his witty sense of humor and sincerity to all he loved. An avid lobster fisherman and a man of the sea. He was very sports oriented, a die-hard Cleveland Indians fan. Bill was an athlete of Mount Desert Island High School, who then became a coach. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rhonda Hebron; son, Robert; sister, Michelle Soloman; grandchildren, Jodi and Jessie Harper; sisters-in-law, Louise Piquette, Wilhelmina and husband, Hiram Alley, Corinne and husband, John Woodward; stepsister, Sonja Fields; many nieces and nephews, several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Robert “Bobby” John Hebron. He will also be missed by close friends, the community and his six cats.
