CONCORD, N.H. – William T. Clarke, 75, a longtime Concord, N.H. resident, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at a Concord, N.H. hospital. He was born Jan. 11, 1929, the son of Joseph S. and Ida Mae (Bush) Clarke, in Bangor. He was a graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School, in Bangor. He had worked in the printing business as a lithographer for more than 50 years. He had worked for Concord Photo Engraving and for the Rumford Press, from which he retired. Bill enjoyed golf. He also was an avid Red Sox, New England Patriots and Notre Dame College football fan. He coached in the PeeWee Baseball league for several years. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. His family members surviving him include his wife of 56 years, Carline T. (Gallagher) Clarke, of Concord, N.H.; four sons, Thomas M. Clarke of Bar Harbor, James S. Clarke of Palmer, Alaska, Gregory F. Clarke of Manchester, N.H., William T. Clarke Jr. of Concord, N.H.; four daughters, Margaret L. Clarke of Lempster, N.H., Julie A. Rich of Penacook, N.H., Lori J. Clarke and Lisa J. Greene, both of Concord, N.H.; a brother, John Clarke of Manchester, N.H.; a sister, Patricia Turner, of Falmouth; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
