FRANKLIN, Mass. – William “Will” R. Briggs, 23, died Aug. 1, 2006, in a motorcycle accident in Franklin, Mass. He was born May 15, 1983, in Natick, Mass., the son of Mark Briggs and his wife, Jennifer Briggs, of Ellsworth and Barbara (Lilja) Adams and her husband, Thomas, of Mesa, Ariz. Mr. Briggs had lived in Franklin for most of his life. He was a 2002 graduate of Franklin High School. Mr. Briggs was a painter. He enjoyed snowmobiling and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Wayne Briggs of Ellsworth and Zachary Briggs of Franklin, Mass.; his grandmother, Elizabeth Lilja of Medway; and many uncles, aunts and cousins who loved him dearly. Calling hours will be 5-8 p.m. Friday in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin, Mass. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Franklin Federated Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Oak Street PCC, 224 Oak St., Franklin, MA 02038.
