CORINTH – Winston J. Dumond, 75, the husband of Patricia (Woodcock) Dumond, died May 27, 2008, at his residence. He was born May 13, 1933, in Fort Fairfield, the son of William E. and Elizabeth (Holmes) Dumond. He was a member of Charleston Pentecostal Church and 21-year retired employee of General Electric. Winston loved spending his time with his family and friends, and serving the Lord. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing his guitar and harmonica with the Country Boys – Country Gospel. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Corinth, are two sons, Stephen Dumond and his wife, Nancy, of Clifton, and Thomas Dumond of Corinth; a daughter, Elizabeth Archer and her husband, Darrell, of Corinth; two brothers, Loomis Lloyd Dumond and his wife, Anna-Rae, of Corinth, and William Dumond Jr. of Fort Fairfield; two grandchildren, Kyle Archer and Amy Frost and her husband, Allan; and three great-grandchildren, Allan Jr., Colby and Wyatt. Winston was predeceased by his daughter, Diana; and a son, Christopher. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Charleston Pentecostal Church. Friends and family are invited for a time of conversation and refreshments after the service at the fellowship hall. Those who wish may make donations in memory of Winston to Charleston Pentecostal Church. Cremation arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
