MADAWASKA – Yvonne Cyr, 95, passed away April 3, 2008, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born Sept. 1, 1912, in St. Basil, New Brunswick, the daughter of Leon and Leaha (Voisine) Cyr. She is survived by four daughters, Theresa and her husband, Perry Good, of Presque Isle, Joanne Cyr of California, Daisylene Cyr of Massachusetts, and Geneva and her husband, Jack Clifford, of Massachusetts; three sons, Gilman Cyr and his wife, Evelyn, of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Wallace Cyr and his wife, Mildred, of Bangor, and Danny and Ann Marie Cyr of Madawaska; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Leon F. Cyr, Yvonne was predeceased by five brothers and four children. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. David Church. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at the parish cemetery in the spring.
