CARIBOU – Yvonne Ouellette, 89, wife of the late Alfred Ouellette, died March 16, 2007, in Caribou, after a long illness. She was born May 24, 1917, in Van Buren, the daughter of Albert and Amanda (Levesque) Levesque. Yvonne was educated in the Van Buren school system and was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Ladies of St. Anne, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lister-Knowlton Post No. 9389 VFW and to the Fred B. Brescia Council Knights of Columbus; and was a member of the Golden Age. She is survived by three sons, Richard Ouellette and his wife, Velma, of Connor, Ronald Ouellette and his wife, Dianne, of Morrisville, N.C., and Rick Ouellette and his wife, Diane, of Star, Idaho; two daughters, Doris Kennington Ware and her husband, Thom, of Pearl, Miss., and Nancy Thibodeau and her husband, Gordon, of Caribou; two brothers, Addes Levesque of Caribou and Lawrence Levesque of Connor; three sisters, Irene Picard of Caribou, Edwina Van Ness of Buena Vista, Colo., and Alma Boucher of Cromwell, Conn.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday, until times of services. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Fr. Thanh Nguyen, pastor, officiating, in a Mass of Christian burial. Spring interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
