MADAWASKA – Yvonne Pelletier, 96, passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2004, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born in Madawaska, Jan. 25, 1908, the daughter of Paul and Elise (Racine) Michaud. She married Joseph J. Pelletier on June 29, 1926, who passed away on Aug. 7, 1985. Yvonne was the mother of 18 children and is survived by five; Alfred and his wife, Georgette, of Madawaska; Clarence and his wife, Florence, of St. David, Verna and her husband, Gerald, of Cap Rouge, Quebec, Canada, Nelson and his wife, Diane, of Bristol, Conn. and Barbara, of Madawaska; 42 grandchildren; 46 great-grand-children; six great-great-grand-children. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday. Interment will be in the upper St. Agatha Cemetery in the spring.
