SMYRNA – Zella E. Hersey, 86, of Smyrna, died April 8, 2005, at Houlton. She was born April 10, 1918, in Merrill, the daughter of Roy and Myrtle Mitchell. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Patricia Hersey of Oakfield; two grandchildren, James Hersey of Smyrna and Wanda Jandreau and her husband, Marty of Edgewood, Md.; two great-grandchildren, Adrian and Jordi Jandreau; two sisters, Doris Friel and June Bustard, both of Oakfield; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Herbert; one son, Vernon; four sisters, Amy Botting, Verna Ellis, Faye Drew, and Pearl Boutilier; one niece, Patricia Boutilier; and one nephew, Linwood Drew. Graveside funeral services will be held in May at the convenience of the family in the Smyrna Mills Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton.
