MADAWASKA – Blanche M. Pelletier, 93, passed away Sept. 27, 2008, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born June 11, 1915, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Alex and Doreen (Soucy) Levesque. Blanche is survived by four sons, Donald Pelletier and his companion, Carol Pelletier, of Madawaska, James Pelletier and his wife, Lisa, of Southington, Conn., Harold Pelletier and his wife, Cheryl, of Madawaska, and Ronald G. Pelletier of Grand Isle; three daughters, Theresa Gervais and her husband, Alcide, of St. David, Mildred Bishop and her husband, Mack, of Alexandria, Va., and Madeleine Sanborn and her husband, Edgar, of Madawaska; 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Pelletier, in 2006; a daughter, Germaine Pelletier; one brother, Alphy; and five sisters, Elsie, Zellie, Jean, Alma and Annie. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
