LILLY LEVESQUE – VAN BUREN – Lilly Levesque, 91, died Sept. 28, 2008, at a Van Buren nursing home. She was born March 18, 1917, in Cyr Plantation, the daughter of John and Genevieve (Ouellette) Cormier. She is survived by four sons, Delman Levesque and his wife, Gertrude, of Bristol, Conn., Ivan Levesque and his wife, Eileen, Ronald Levesque and his wife, Sandra, all of Van Buren and Allan Levesque and his wife, Freda, of Vernon, Conn.; one daughter, Stella Levesque of Van Buren; one sister, Ruby Madore of Van Buren; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Lilly was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse Levesque in 1974; four sons, Hector Levesque in 1945, Rudolph Levesque in 1947, Philip Levesque in 1976 and Gerald Levesque in 1992; and one brother, Percy Cormier in 2004. Relatives and friends may call 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Committal service and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
