WINTERPORT – Raymond L. Nealley, 85, died Oct. 2, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 13, 1922, in Winterport, the son of Roy and Almina (Clements) Nealley. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, serving in the 407th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. Raymond was a member of the American Legion and Northern Light Grange. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Raymond is survived by his wife, Mabelle Nealley of Winterport; his sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Sandra Nealley and Edward and Rowena Nealley, all of Winterport; three grandsons and two granddaughters. Graveside services with military honors will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Pilgrims Home Cemetery, Monroe. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
