LESTER W. GOSS

LARGO, Fla., and ELLSWORTH – Lester W. Goss, 94, passed away Sept. 24, 2008. He was born in Orrington. Lester was a longtime member of Ralph J. Pollard Lodge and worked many years at Eastern Corp., until it closed in 1968, and then moved to Largo, Fla. He really enjoyed his camp at Branch Lake, Ellsworth, which was built in 1947. He was predeceased by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Stella; and by companion of several years, Myra Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy and husband, Robert Royall, of Largo, Fla.; and sons, Donald and wife, Elaine, Gary and wife, Ann, Ken and wife, Betty, and Harold and wife, Priscilla, all of Maine; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be announced in spring 2009.
