GRAND ISLE – Omerine Beaulieu, 71, died Oct. 5, 2008, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born May 17, 1937, in Grand Isle, the daughter of Patrick and Irene (Fournier) Beaulieu. In addition to her husband, Esperant “Hope” Beaulieu of Madawaska, she is survived by two sons, Dan Beaulieu and his wife, Theresa, of Madawaska and Ken Beaulieu and his wife, Lynn, of Grand Isle; and by Steve Thibodeau of Boston, whom she raised as a son with her own family; one sister, Joan Caron of Auburn; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Katelynn, Ashley and Justine Beaulieu and her fiance, Dustin Martin. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and relatives may call 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment will be at St. Gerard Cemetery, Grand Isle.
