SHERMAN – Lawrence Wyman, 59, died Oct. 8, 2008, in Houlton. He was born May 23, 1949, in Lincoln, the son of Horace and Thelma (McDermitt) Wyman. In addition to his mother of Patten, he is survived by one brother, Brian and his wife, Barbara, of Sherman; two nephews, Brett and Travis Meigs of New York; and one uncle, Richard McDermitt. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Friday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. with the Rev. Donnis Willigar officiating. Interment will be at Sherman Mills Cemetery.
