RUSSELL LEE ‘RUSS’ STAPLES II

TAYLORS, S.C. – Russell Lee “Russ” Staples II, 27, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. Born in Vista, Calif., he was the son of Paula Fetter Bradley and Russell Lee Staples. Mr. Staples was an installer for Nuvox Communications. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Emily Addison Staples; a son, Elijah Russell Staples; stepfather, James Bradley; stepmother, Kathleen Staples; a sister, six brothers; four grandmothers, Sue Barnes of Nebraska, Rowena Staples of Maine, Elaine Fetter of Texas and Ellen Bradley of Colorado; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial for his children may be sent to any branch of Wachovia Bank in the names of Emily and Elijah Staples. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, Greenville, S.C. The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Praise Cathedral Church of God. The family will be at the home of James and Paula Bradley, 1011 Ikes Road, Taylors, S.C.
