BAILEYVILLE – Phyllis MacArthur, 73, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at the Calais hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Baileyville, the daughter of Fred and Eva (Sherman) Moholland. She lived in Princeton most of her life, where she raised her children. Phyllis enjoyed being with her family. She was predeceased by her son, “Bo” MacArthur; and her daughter, Lillian Black. Surviving are her children, Linda Leonard of Baileyville, Wilhelmina and Dave Hunter of McAdam, New Brunswick, and Mike MacArthur and Sherri Windsor of Bangor; two brothers, Harvey Moholland of Baileyville and Harry Moholland of Camden; one sister, Hilda Conlogue of Portland; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her canine companion, Dusty. Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at Princeton Baptist Church.
