SAN FRANCISCO – Keith L. Rideout, 85, died Oct. 10, 2008, at Veterans Administration Hospital, San Francisco. He was born May 26, 1923, in Robinson, the son of Henry and Alma Rideout. Keith served in the U.S. Navy as lieutenant commander for 17 years and for the last few of those years served in the air search and rescue in the Coast Guard. He was predeceased by a brother, Harold; and also two sisters, Virginia Mason and Myrtle Tarr. He is survived by one sister, Vella Dawn Giberson; as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by a longtime friend, Larry Monroe. Funeral services will be held in San Francisco.
