LEROY G. CAMPBELL

BANGOR – Leroy G. Campbell, 59, died Oct. 9, 2008, at his home. He was born March 31, 1949, in Bangor, the son of Aubrey and Arlene (MacDonald) Campbell. Leroy was a member of Pleasant River Lodge No. 163 AF & AM of Brownville, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Bangor, Maine Consistory 32nd Degree, and Anah Shriners, where he was an aide, served on the directors staff and was very active with the Anah Circus, as their top ad salesman, for a number of years. Leroy is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary (Albert) Campbell of Bangor; one son, Brent Campbell and his wife, Lynn of Greenbush; two daughters, Barbara and her husband, Clifford Badger, of Milo, and Melissa and her husband, Bert Allen, of Bradford; 14 grandchildren, Brent Jr., Samantha, Charlene, Ryan, Allison, Peanut, Corinne, Corie, Bertie, Rosie, Rachel, Sherrilyn, Sarah and Linda; four great-grandchildren, Kooper, Madison, Daisy and William. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a Masonic service will be held 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the funeral home.
