CLAIRE M. WARREN – ENFIELD and BANGOR – Claire Marie Warren, 86, died Oct. 12, 2008, in Lincoln. She was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, daughter of Leo and Bernadette (Gregoire) LeDuc. Claire was a graduate of Keene High School, Keene, N.H., and Beal Business College, Bangor. She was a well-known bookkeeper in the Bangor area for many years. Claire was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church of Howland, Enfield Elders senior group and Ammadamast Grange No. 379 of Enfield. She enjoyed her cottage at Lucerne and was generous with her volunteer services to the grange and elders. Surviving in addition to her husband, Roger E. Warren of Enfield, are three sisters, Teresa Walsh and her husband, Jim, of Florida, Blanche Southwick of New Hampshire and Adele Podwin and her husband, Sid, of Florida; one brother, Leo LeDuc Jr. of New Hampshire; nieces and nephews; and special friends, William and Carol Brooks of Brewer, and Linwood and Pat Doane of Hampden. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Timothy J. Nadeau officiating. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
