JAMES L. ‘BUGSY’ MURRAY – BREWER and CLINTON – James Murray passed away peacefully while watching the Red Sox Oct. 12, 2008, at Togus Veterans Hospital. Jimmy was born June 28, 1936, to Percy and Olga (Lawson) Murray. Jimmy left a lasting impression on everyone who met him. He had an infectious smile and he truly enjoyed life his way, those who knew him would agree. He is survived by two daughters and a son, Linda Cole of Winterport, Michael Murray of Huntsville, Ala., and Jackie Hern of Lowell; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jimmy leaves behind a loving partner, Lois Warren and her family, whom Jimmy loved very much and they loved him. Jimmy comes from a family of 13 and was predeceased by his parents; and six brothers, Jake, Scottie, Robert, Charlie, Paul, and his twin brother, Johnny. His six surviving siblings are Joe, Tommy, Norman, Bevy, Mary and Pauline. He is also survived by a special niece, Angel; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many dear friends, including a special friend, Robert Williams. At Jimmy’s request, there will be no funeral services.
