BAR HARBOR – Anton Harold Rampacek, infant son of Lynn and Mark Rampacek of Bar Harbor, was born and died at 2:39 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. Although little Anton was not able to make a place for himself in the world, in the months he lived in his mother’s womb he created an enduring presence in his parents’ hearts and memories. He will always be cherished as a member of their family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, John and Barbara Ambielli, of Califon, N.J.; and his paternal grandparents, Linda Rampacek of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Anthony Rampacek of Hudson, Fla. He was predeceased by his sister, Coral Rose Rampacek, March 21, 2005. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor, where Anton will be buried next to his sister, Coral Rose.
