Calais-Woodland 48, Dexter 14
At Dexter, senior fullback Blake Ford rushed for 279 yards on 11 carries and scored four touchdowns as the Silverados won for the fourth time in their last five games.
Ford scored on runs of 60, 57, 59 and 13 yards as 4-3 Calais-Woodland extended a 16-14 half-time lead with 32 unanswered points after intermission.
Ford also contributed four two-point conversion runs.
Sophomore Cam Shorey added touchdown runs of 25 and 36 yards for the Silverados, and finished the afternoon with 122 rushing yards on 10 carries.
Calais-Woodland finished with 401 total yards — all on the ground — on 26 rushes, an average of 15.4 yards per carry.
Dexter (1-6) got a pair of second-quarter touchdowns to rally from a 16-0 deficit. Doug Richardson scored on a 2-yard run, and Cameron Doncet-Hall caught a 31-yard scoring pass from Andrew Lockhart on the last play of the first half.
Richardson finished with 193 rushing yards on 33 carries. Dexter amassed 273 yards of total offense, including 245 rushing yards on 56 carries.

Lucas Jones broke a score-less tie early in the third quarter with a 1-yard touchdown run. Winslow added two scores in the fourth quarter, touch-down runs of 16 and 53 yards by Scott Siviski.
Siviski, Eric Bezanson and Lucas Jones combined to rush for more than 260 yards in the contest.

At Hampden on Friday, Shawn Smith ran for a touch-down and threw for a touch-down in the last five minutes of the game as the Broncos rallied to defeat the Raiders of Sabattus.
Smith ran for a five-yard touchdown with 4:58 left in the game then, after a successful onside kick, threw for a 20-yard touchdown to Justin Rodgerson with 3:05 remaining to put Hampden ahead.
Smith was 17-for-24 for 191 yards passing with two touch-downs, including a 14-yarder Noland Turner and had eight carries for 87 yards.
Turner had nine catches for 94 yards and also carried the ball 14 times for 73 yards.

Travis Rich made 28 saves on 30 shots for 1-11 Valley.

At Caribou, Russ Mortland notched two goals in the second half to propel Presque Isle by Caribou.
Warren Zubrick tallied a goal and two assists while Josh Allen added a goal and an assist for 13-0-1 Presque Isle. Dillon Kingsbury made three saves on six shots for the Wildcats.
Eric Brown stopped 14 of 18 shots for 7-4-2 Caribou.

At Greenville, McKenna Peat scored three goals to spearhead the Lakers’ victory.
Ruby Rockwell provided a goal and an assist for 6-1-4 Greenville and Sidney Richardson scored a goal. Nikki Hamilton added an assist.
Richardson and Miranda Drinkwater combined to make seven saves on as many shots.
Allyssa Vitalone made 14 saves and faced 30 shots for 1-8-2 Valley of Bingham.

Brunswick 1, Brewer 0 (OT)
At Brewer, Caitlin Jameson scored the game-winner with an assist from Erica Paulette about three minutes into overtime to give No. 9 Brunswick the win over No. 8 Brewer.
Heather Durkee stopped all 10 shots to earn the shutout for Brunswick.
Angela Patterson saved 15 of 16 shots for the Witches.

At Plymouth, N.H., Sarah Smith scored two goals as Plymouth State University defeated Thomas College of Waterville Sunday.
Ashley Gutowski had a goal and two assists for 7-6 Plymouth State. Kristina Conroy, Morgan Lemmon, Christina Parisi, Courtney McLaughlin and Kerry D’Ambroise added goals. Elyse Sedgley have five saves off nine shots.
Christina Allaire and Kristin Masessa scored unassisted goals for the 3-11 Terriers. Megan Denby saved 12 of 29 shots.
UMass Dartmouth 4, USM 0
At North Dartmouth, Mass., Stephanie Kinchla scored two unassisted first-half goals to lead the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth past the University of Southern Maine Saturday.
Rebecca Stephens and Kellie Finn added second-half goals for the 10-5 Consairs. Seana Golden turned away all seven shots.
Allison Hill stopped eight of 18 shots for the 7-8 Huskies.
Castleton 7, Thomas 0
At Castleton, Vt., Kayla Blank scored three second-half goals as Castleton State College shut out Thomas College Saturday.
Marie Amaral added two goals for 10-6 Castleton. Carolyn Griggs had a goal and two assists and Trishia Fellows scored. Trisha Clark made one save off three shots.
Megan Denby saved 10 of 24 shots for the Terriers.
Husson 4, UM-Farmington 0
At Bangor, Erica Dorso scored a goal and assisted two others as Husson University shut down the University of Maine at Farmington Saturday.
All of Husson’s goals came in the second half.
Sarah Hessert, Courtney Allen and Krystal Doughty added goals for the 4-7 Eagles. Jillian Morin provided two assists. Kara Voisine stopped four of seven shots.
Kaeleigh Barker made nine saves on 19 shots for 7-6 UM-Farmington.

At Cambridge, Mass., the University of Maine scored two early second-half goals to defeat Boston University Saturday.
Kelly Newton scored off a Stephanie Gardiner assist 1:56 into the second half for the 4-9 Black Bears. Nicole Emery added an insurance goal with an assist from Maire Dineen less than a minute later. Brittany Flech stopped six of 20 shots.
Giovanna Monaco brought Boston University within a goal off a Nikki Lloyd assist. Kim Kastuk saved one of four shots.

Husson 49, SUNY Maritime 14
At Throggs Neck, N.Y., tail-backs Julius Williams and Justin Lindie of Winslow combined to rush for 290 yards and six touchdowns as the Eagles posted their fifth win.
Williams netted 180 yards on 23 carries and turned in scoring runs of 4, 1, 4 and 5 yards. Lindie carried 18 times for 110 yards with two 12-yard touchdowns scampers.
James McCandless went 9-for-13 passing good for 165 yards and a touchdown and was not intercepted. James Dobson made seven catches for 146 yards, one of them a 56-yard TD reception.
Husson broke a 7-7 tie on the McCandless to Dobson hookup and then scored twice more in the first half to begin the rout. The Eagles amassed 486 yards of offense, including 321 on the ground.
Keith Runne paced Husson with six tackles, while Cory Smith posted five tackles, including 2.5 for a loss. Doug Blades made an interception.
Jamie Spanopoulos rushed for 71 yards and a TD to lead SUNY Maritime College.

At Ritchie Field in Castine, quarterback Tyler Angell’s 29-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter put the Mariners in front for good.
Angell netted 109 yards on 21 carries for Maine Maritime Academy, which won the Admirals Cup for the fifth straight year in the rivalry with Massachusetts Maritime.
Fullback Jim Bower piled up 210 yards on 37 carries, turning in TD runs of 13 and 9 yards, to pace the Mariners. Angell also added a 24-yard TD scamper.
Kyle Moon threw a 29-yard scoring pass to Colin Teehan for the 0-7 Buccaneers.
Defensive back Rob Leighton set a Maine Maritime record with his 13th career interception. Wade Mondoux provided 10 tackles and an interception for the Mariners while Steve Keroack had seven tackles, five for a loss.

UM-Fort Kent rolls to two wins
The University of Maine-Fort Kent improved to 14-0 over the weekend, shutting out SUNY-Canton 7-0 Saturday before drubbing Paul Smiths College 11-1 Sunday.
On Saturday at Canton, N.Y., seven different players scored goals as the Bengals earned the shutout of SUNY-Canton.
Walford Stewart scored a goal and assisted two others to lead the 14-0 Bengals. Keith Williams II had a goal and an assist. Andre Anderson, Jarryd Phillips, Emlyn Jacoby, Henley Comrie and Andre Gervais also scored. Giovanni Sinclair turned away two of five shots to earn the shutout.
Eamon Case made seven saves off 22 shots for the 7-6-2 Roos.
On Sunday at Paul Smith, N.Y., Anderson scored three goals and had two assists as UMFK rolled past Paul Smith’s College.
Williams II and Luka Odak scored two goals apiece while Jacoby, Stewart and Josh Nich-ols each added a goal. Phillips, Williams, Jacoby and Stewart each grabbed an assist. Sinclair blocked five of six shots for the Bengals.
Ben Marshall made 20 saves on 30 shots for Paul Smith’s.
Maine 2, Stony Brook 1
At Stony Brook, N.Y., Alex Rickett scored two goals including the game-winner on a breakaway with 3:53 remaining in the game to lift Maine past Stony Brook on Sunday.
Justin Facer tallied the assist on Rickett’s first goal. Nemanja Kostic stopped five of 16 shots for the 4-7-2 Black Bears.
James Palumbo netted the goal for Stony Brook early in the second half. David Ditrich made five saves on 12 shots for the 2-11-2 Seawolves.
Husson 2, MMA 1 (OT)
At Bangor, Tyler Metevier scored the winner off a Josh Labonte assist 3:45 into overtime to give Husson University the win over Maine Maritime Academy Saturday.
Metevier also scored Husson’s first goal off a corner kick 19:41 into the second half. Brad Ala turned away three of seven shots for the 8-6 Eagles.
Nate Tipton tied it off a Greg Smith assist 35:44 into the second for the 4-8-1 Mariners. Jeff Butland made 13 saves off 36 shots.
ECSU 4, Southern Maine 3
At Willimantic, Conn., Nicholas Boretti scored two goals as Eastern Connecticut State University held off the University of Southern Maine Saturday.
Matt Esposito broke the 2-2 tie 15:25 into the second half with assists from Scott Mishley and Mike Vekakis for 11-1-3 Eastern Connecticut. Maxim Fantl added a goal less than eight minutes later to make it 4-2. Carl Appel saved two of six shots.
Greg Cox, Peter McHugh and Derek Peters scored for 9-6-1 Southern Maine. David Kreps turned away four of 13 shots.
UM-Farmington 6, Thomas 4
At Waterville, James Tolleffson had a hat trick as the University of Maine at Farmington beat Thomas College Saturday.
Andrew Harner, Patrick Martin and Ethan Jean also scored for UM-Farmington. Matt Dennett saved four of 20 shots.
Tom Costa led Thomas with two goals. Jim Grant added a goal and two assists and Scott Pullen also scored. Keegan Curtin made four saves off 17 shots.
St. Joseph’s 2, Johnson & Wales 1
At Standish, Doug MacCallum scored the winner 11:03 into the second half off a Michael Sanfilippo assist to give Saint Joseph’s College the win over Johnson and Wales Saturday.
Kevin Melega scored the first goal with an assist from MacCallum at 14:38 in the first for 7-4-3 Saint Joseph’s. Will Pike had four saves on nine shots.
Scott Kirchner scored an unassisted goal at 19:30 in the first to tie it at 1-1 for Johnson and Wales. Joe Ferraro stopped one of eight shots.

Moubarak Agoro tied it off a Nick Leboeuf assist with 1:37 remaining in regulation for the 7-7-2 Roos. Eamon Case saved two of 10 shots.

Bowdoin 1, Husson 0
At Bangor on Sunday, Ellery Gould scored the only goal of the game with just under 20 minutes to play to lift Bowdoin College past Husson University.
Kelly Thomas posted five saves on 15 shots for the 6-2-3 Polar Bears.
Tatyana Wolterbeek stopped nine of 21 shots for the 11-4 Eagles.
Maine 1, Vermont 1 (2OT)
At Orono on Sunday, Eliza Bradley made eight saves in the second half and overtime combined to help Vermont hold on for a double overtime tie with Maine.
Bradley finished with 11 saves on 25 shots for the Catamounts. Carson Laderoute scored the tying goal in the second half for 3-12-1 Vermont.
Carolyne Nellis tallied the goal for Maine on an assist from Kelsey Wilson. Jasmine Phillips made three saves on seven shots for the 5-4-6 Black Bears.
UM-Farmington 2, Thomas 0
At Waterville, Amber Murphy scored a goal in the first half on an assist from Heidi Jackson as the University of Maine-Farmington shut out Thomas.
The Beavers tallied their second point with an own goal by Thomas in the second half. McKell Barnes and Crystal Johnson combined for one save for UMF.
Jess Nassetta and Lindsay Gove combined for 13 saves for the Terriers.

At Orono, Jennie Gallo scored three goals and tallied two assists as Maine cruised past Sacred Heart on Saturday.
Melissa Gagnon, Myriam Croussette, Amy Stech, Danielle Cyr, Dominique Goutsis, Jenna Ouellette, Dawn Sullivan and Abby Barton each added a goal for 2-4 Maine. Candice Currier made 13 saves on 14 shots for the Black Bears.
Amanda Nagel blocked 46 of 57 shots for 1-2 Sacred Heart.
