CALAIS – Suzanne Leeman, 65, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at a Bangor hospital. Suzanne was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice Raye. She worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for children group homes. Suzanne had a love for water, spending time at the lake and ocean. She enjoyed coffee time, walking her dog, Daphney, and spending quality time with friends and family. Suzanne will be remembered by many for her giving and caring ways. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Raye; and her pride and joy, her canine companion, Daphney. Surviving are her son, Ed Leeman and his wife, Jo-Ellen, of Calais; and two grandchildren, Jordan and Joel Leeman. At Suzanne’s request, there will be no services.
