MRS. MARIE PLOURDE

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. Mrs. Marie Plourde, 68, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008. She was born May 26, 1940, in Barnstable, Mass., to parents, Lester and Viola Lee. Mrs. Plourde was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fleming Island, Fla. She was an avid golfer and had an incredible five “holes-in-one.” She was a member of the USGA, Magnolia Point Ladies Golf Association, Jacksonville Women’s Golf Association and when she wasn’t golfing, she enjoyed sewing and being with her loving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald J. Plourde; children, Cheryl Plourde of Berlin, Conn., Lisa Thomas of LaCrosse, Wis., Cathy Plourde of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Kendra Peck (Scott) of Fleming Island, Fla.; brother, Russell Lee of Osterville, Mass.; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Donal Sullivan as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs, P.O.
