PALMYRA – Patrick James Trombley, 61, died Oct. 31, 2008, at the Veterans’ Administration Hospital, Togus. He was born May 15, 1947, in Pawtucket, R.I., a son of James and Veneta (Welsh) Trombley. After graduating with an associate degree, he served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps. Although he was considered to be completely disabled, he worked many years as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (DeViller) Trombley; a daughter, Melissa Bell; stepson, Charles DeViller; stepdaughter, Kathleen and husband, Jason Whore; a brother, James Trombley II and his wife, Kathleen; sister-in-law, Theresa DeViller and mate, Greg Bain; brothers-in-law, Wayne DeViller and mate, Darleen Ringer, Frank DeViller, Gerald and wife, Carolyn DeViller; and nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport.
