VALERIE TAINTER CARR

WINTHROP – Valerie Tainter Carr, 37, of Bangor and formerly of Winthrop, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at her home in Bangor. She was born Feb. 2, 1971, in Augusta, the daughter of Donald and Carol Tainter. She grew up in Winthrop, graduating from Winthrop High School in 1989. There will be a memorial celebration of her life to be held graveside 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Glenside Cemetery, Turkey Lane, Winthrop, with a time of remembrance afterward at Winthrop Masonic Hall, Old Lewiston Road. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations for her children may be sent care of Connie Hubley, 714 Mount Pisgah Road, Winthrop, ME 04364.
