STACYVILLE – Marian G. “Murph” Robinson, 72, passed into eternity Nov. 24, 2008. Murph was born April 8, 1936, in Chicago, the daughter of the late James and Greta Stewart. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, William H. Robinson, Jan. 3, 2007; her son, Wade; and her sister, Betty Coats. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce and husband, Skip Schwarz, of New Hampshire, and Janet Robinson of North Carolina; three sons, William R. and wife, Anna, of Stacyville, Jack and wife, Tina, of Bowdoin, and Mark and wife, Sonya, of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a special friend of many years, Mary Cullens of Patten. Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Calvary Baptist Church, Stacyville, with Pastor Donis Willigar officiating. Private interment will be at Stacyville Station Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in her memory to St. Judy’s Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101, a charity she felt deeply about.
