LUBEC – Diana E. Olson, 69, died Nov. 25, 2008, at a Bangor hospital from complications of lung cancer. She was born May 5, 1939, in Lubec, the daughter of Harold E. and Kathleen (Heffron) Ross. Diana lived in Connecticut many years before returning to her family home in Lubec. She worked caring for the elderly. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren. She could always make one laugh with her quick wit and humor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, James R. Ross. She is survived by her children: son, Larry Olson and his partner, Roberta Biroschak, of Clinton, Conn.; two daughters, Cindy Murray and her husband, David, of Lubec and Julie McGough and her partner, David Bouchard, of Levant; grandchildren, Daniel and Ryan McGough, Bethany and Jonathan Murray; an aunt, Shirley Dodge and her husband, Lee, of Rockland, Mass.; her former husband, James A. Olson of Lubec; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Olson Cemetery, Lubec.
